一、走进情境 体验语用
Well begun is half done. 在导入环节,教师结合文本内容为对话教学创编一个背景对话作为先行组织者,让学生浸润于一个相对完整的语言情境中更好地感知语言、理解语言和体验语言,从而为对话教学做好铺垫。
小学英语对话课堂是基于对话交流的课堂教学形式,在进入文本对话前,教师根据情境发展需要,铺垫一个小对话,解决若干语言点,直至与文本会话对接。
【案例1】译林小学英语五年级下册《unit8 Birthdays》一课通过谈论苏海苏阳和Mike的生日对话展现核心句型“...’s birthday is on the ... He usually ...s”的语义和语用情境。
教师在教学对话前以文本对话为导向,创设与课文对接的情境,借以铺垫重点句型。
情境1:T : There are twelve months in a year. Which month do you like? Why?
B: I like January. Because spring festival is in January. People usually get together with their families and have a big dinner. After that, we play with our toys.
通过以上情境,激活了学生旧知,铺垫了新的语言点,为后续“生日”情境顺畅自然。
情境2:T: What day is it today?It's ...
T: What date is it today? It’s the ...
T: What months do you like?I like December,because my birthday is in December. We eat noodles.
T: When is your birthday?
此情境出示后,教师通过引入日期和生日,促进学生对情境的感悟和理解,帮助学生正确运用序数词和“生日”语言。
情境3:T:What do you usually do on your birthday?
S:I usually eat noodles and a birthday cake. Sometimes I have a party at home.
以上三个情境中对话的话轮是以递进形式呈现,每个对话都是完整的意义块,对语言点的解决起到情境暗示作用。
