本单元的话题是a new student,通过本单元的学习,学生能够结合生活实际向新的学生介绍自己的学校,可以用新的句型there be的一般疑问句形式和肯定句形式和新同学交流,从而更加扎实地运用there be句型。
1. 复习story版块中关注语言形式
(1) 导入新课,激活旧知。
T: Look, who is she?
S: this is Nancy Black. She’s a new student. Can you show her around the new school,xx?
T: Yes, Miss Li.
Pair work,ask and answer.学生一问一答扮演yangling和Nancy
(2)角色扮演,句子变式
Nancy’s new school
I’m Nancy Black. I’m a new student. (我是一个新学生。)
Let me show you around my school.(让我带你参观我的学校。)
This is our school. These are the classrooms.(这些是教室。)
There are twenty-four classrooms.
Our classroom is on the second floor.(我们的教室是在二楼。)
There are two computer rooms.(有两个电脑室。)
They are on the third floor. (它们是在三楼。)
There is a libray.(有一个图书馆。) It is on the third floor too.
There is a table tennis room. It’s on the first floor.
There is a music room. It’s on the first floor too.

T: what’s in the school?

T: Yes, there’s a reading room too. There isn’t a table tennis room.

This is our school. It’s big and clean.
